Banna Beach, is an Atlantic Ocean beach extending from
Ballyheigue Beach in the North to
Barrow Beach at its Southern edge. It features sand dunes along its entire length, which rise to 40 feet. The mountains of
Dingle Peninsula can be seen on the horizon when looking out to sea.

Historically,
Banna Beach is associated with
Roger Casement who was captured here on April 21st, 1916, while attempting to land arms for Irish Republicans from the German vessel the Aud.
